These monkeys were sure excited about our egg hunt! The entire week they asked "Is today the egg hunt?" We spent the first part of the week learning about plants. We dissected Lima bean seeds and observed them with magnifying glasses. We tried to plant some but our windows just didn't get enough sun with all the cloudy rainy days and the overhang outside our room! We made some plants instead and labeled all the parts! The second part of the week we started talking about Rabbits! We heard the Tale of peter Rabbit and made a peter rabbit art project to follow up with! The egg hunt at the end of the week was the highlight! Our wonderful families sent in lots and lots of treat filled eggs! I numbered them all so the monkeys would have to find a set off eggs numbered 1-21! They loved using their record sheet to check which numbers they had and still needed! 12 and 21 got us slightly confused.. but we ended up with enough eggs!
